but then how could he...this was a bright new creation of science...unwittingly created but none the less sole property of the GODS of SCIENCE 
who stood before the isolette in the specially created nursery every day doing his scientific observation....only he knew that indeed it was fascination that brought him here....to watch and ponder how this miracle...to use a religious word.... had occured...
in the lab his PHD students and techs 
were hard at work...retracing the 3rd gene cleaning procedure...all other moms on the REZ that had the same procedure showed no abnormal growths on their fetuses....and were simply being watched carefully....
the creature who was at birth so responsive to him in particular now seemed to be distancing itself from him....it no longer reached for him...altho it still smiled.....it seemed to be bonding with it's mother who now was allowed in several times a day to feed it...she didn't have to gown and wear all the reverse contamination gear he did...as she had carried the creature and was no biological threat to it....
he still picked it up...held it lovingly as all Frankensteins might do...but it didn't reach out with it's arm and it's wing to enfold and hold him....
"it's the gear" he thought "and the mother"
if he could have he would have pulled
the contamination clothing off
and keep the mother away forever
this creature was not human
biologically it was not her child
SHE HAD NAMED HER SARAFEM
refusing to accept the word of the doctor
that she was non-sexed
"she doesn't seem to be any sex"
"she's not a boy..but she's not a girl either"

and the creature's aspect was feminine...feminine in every way
but how would anyone know that
her Genotype was completely unknown
the first creature...... the OLD GOD created
was indeed a girl
I think Markam is little jealous! Looks good on him! He's so wrong, she will always be Nat's little girl. This is very good, brings out those maternal instincts! XOXO
